Prof. (Dr.) Ravindra Kumar Sharma is a senior & well known educator of Haryana. He has worked as a
Head of the Department, History in Kurukshetra University, Haryana and a founder member of
Government Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Haryana.
Prof. Sharma has made a great contribution in educational and research activities as a President of
Punjab History Congress, Rajasthan History Congress, Haryana History Congress & Telangana History
Congress. He is an active member of Indian Historical Record commission, Govt. of India, member of
Selection Committees of Universities, government agencies and state recruitment boards.
He also a member of editorial boards and advisory Councils of many reputed referred Journals.
Internationally known for his researches work on military history and allied topics and presented
lectures in many countries.
At present Prof. Sharma contributing with Ministry of Education, Govt. of India for academic research &
developments and allied projects.
